Majestic History
The Krewe of Majestic Carnival Club, Inc. was founded and incorporated July 2, 2021 by a mother and son duo. The objective was to create a social organization that can be active all-year-round and not just during the Mardi Gras carnival season. They wanted to create an internal community of people who serve a passion for service, togetherness, and the love of Mardi Gras culture. What started as a group of family and friends tailgating Mardi Gras parades turned into a social club for love with all things Mardi Gras.
Inspired by his love for Mardi Gras culture and passion for being a servant to his community, founding member Kevin McCathen scheduled a family meeting with his Mom and siblings to charter members for a newly authentic Mardi Gras club that set a different tone from its predecessors. His vision was to establish an organization that can benefit the success from unity, service, merriment and fellowship.
Since its establishment, the members of Krewe of Majestic have dedicated their time and energy to honor the camaraderie to promoting unity, service, merriment and fellowship to everyone.
